Lamination and Dry Mounting: Alpha Graphics offers a wide range of choices in both lamination and mounting substrates. The end use of the print should determine which process to use. Our liquid lamination is recommended for posters to be used for a short period of time, without much handling. This process helps to protect from little everyday mishaps (water-related). Rigid lamination, in several different weight options and in matte or gloss, is recommended for posters to be used for long periods of time with more handling. Mounting materials include Foamcore, Sintra, Gatorboard, Illustration Board. We can also add grommets, hangtags, velcro or easel backs.

Large Format Printing: Alpha Graphics can produce posters up to 59" wide, length unlimited (roll is 100' so don't go overboard here). We have three ink-jet printers that offer quality and price variations to fit your needs. Our finest quality printer offers an optical resolution of 1200dpi. We print on low glare, satin photo-base photo paper. We also stock backlit material, and have been successful in printing to other types of customer-supplied material. Bring in a sample if your project demands a specific stock.

How to Order A Large Format Print: Create an electronic file to size or correct proportion for final output. Email or submit disk along with a copy (laser or inkjet) of your file, and we'll take it from here. We also have an ftp site for files that are too large for email. We have a flat-bed scanner for those who simply want to create a large format print from an existing photo or artwork. Decide if you need your print laminated, mounted or simply rolled. Check Lamination and Mounting for options. Remember that the ink is water-soluble, therefore we recommend some type of lamination for protection (damp fingers, lisping speakers — didn't want to say spit). We can also add perimeter trim to posters mounted on foamcore or gatorboard.

Short Run Printing: We have four high-speed, quality printers available to handle everything from newletters to business cards. We stock 70# and 80# Hammermill Text and 80# Hammermill Cover and several other specialty papers. If your project requires a stock other than Hammermill, just let us know in advance. Booklets are a snap with our in-house finishing services. Binding (GBC plastic comb, Wire-O or saddle stitch), scoring, folding, trimming – all handled here at Alpha by our competent staff. We can even pack for shipping, when necessary

Giclee Printing: We have an Epson printer to reproduce your digital art onto custom sized canvas or fine art paper. Sorry, we cannot scan your artwork over 11 x 17 (no drum scanner). Call Michelle for a quote today!
