Executive Alliance - Mentees Graduate from Executive Alliance Effective Impact Mentoring Program

Tuesday, June 3rd, Executive Alliance graduated 10 women from its Effective Impact Mentoring Program. This 9-month program helps women at the mid-level of their career gain the skills they need to move into senior leadership roles by teaming 8 half-day professional development sessions with a one-on-one mentoring relationship with an Executive Alliance member.

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Announces Newly Elected Board Members

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland (GSCM) has elected eight new members to their board of directors. Each will work to move the organization’s mission of developing girls of courage, confidence and character forward and provide support for leadership programming for its K-12 girl members. “We are thrilled to have this group of individuals join our board and work with the staff and volunteers to provide meaningful opportunities and experiences for our girls,” said Jenny Trostel, GSCM’s interim CEO.

Citybiz - Alpha Graphics Purchases Redstart Creative

Baltimore’s home grown, Alpha Graphics, Inc. and its President, Christine Walsh, announce the acquisition of Redstart Creative, LLC, another Baltimore women-owned business. As a division of Alpha, Redstart will have the ability to better serve existing clients and offer a deeper breadth of integrated services. Both companies will retain their clients, offices and key personnel, including Redstart’s founder, Rebecca Teaff who will remain as an executive manager, strategic planner, and client liaison.
